The use of these window coverings helps to reduce the heat and glare in internal spaces in summer and provide heat insulation in the winter. This can result in a reduction in the demand for climate control systems such as air-conditioning thus reducing electricity consumption and greenhouse gases.

The fabric transparency levels vary from transparent to semi-transparent and dim-out.
Within the range, both Alutex and Clearscreen Met have aluminium backing which further reflects heat and the Series 5000 is supplied with a flame retardant coating.
The rang includes: Roman Blinds, Panel Glides, Roller Blind systems, and Skylight Shading systems, each with their own energy efficiency profile.
